Absolutely. Many people who come to IFS have been given labels like OCD, BPD, complex trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder. While diagnoses can be helpful for understanding certain experiences, IFS doesn’t see people as a collection of symptoms to be fixed. Instead, it looks at your struggles as adaptations to pain, and we work with them in a way that honors and respects your whole system.

No, unfortunately for the time being I offer only Telehealth sessions. Many people find that IFS works beautifully over video sessions since it’s an internal, reflective process.

No, I am not currently a registered psychologist. I have completed a Master’s in Professional Psychology, but I have chosen to work outside the Medicare system, which allows for greater flexibility in my approach. Because of this, I practice under the title of ‘Psychotherapist’ rather than ‘Psychologist

No, my sessions are not eligible for Medicare rebates as I am not currently a registered psychologist. However, some clients prefer working outside the Medicare system because it allows for greater flexibility—no mental health diagnosis is required, and there are no restrictions on the number of sessions you can have.
